Eric Austin has been a professional photographer since 1996. He has a B.A. in Photographic Arts and is a proud member of the PPA. In his long career he has managed large photographic studios along with working in professional labs. His experence in custom labs has given him extensive knowledge of and training in traditional hand printing techniques. While Eric photographs mainly familes and commercial products, he also enjoys nature photography. This site is dedicated to his more artful side. Images on this site are mostly infrared captures. This allows the viewer to immerse themselves in a sureal world not seen by the naked eye. Eric uses a specially designed camera to capture these unique images. All images are carefully honed in Photoshop and then printed in limited edition on German crafted papers using the giclèe process. We hope you enjoy his view through the lens.
